Casino Marketing Boot Camp

Player Development and Loyalty

Casino Marketing Boot Camp – Player Development and Loyalty

Date/Location line: May 3–4, 2027 | Hacienda del Sol Guest Ranch Tucson, Arizona

Your hosts are busy. The question is whether they are productive. Over two focused days, your player development and loyalty teams will build the systems that turn host activity into measurable guest growth. Contact strategies that convert. Portfolios that stay clean. Reactivation playbooks that bring players back. Reporting that earns buy-in from your GM. You will not sit in a ballroom taking notes. You will work on your property’s real players, real lists, and real challenges with coaches and peers who understand the work.

What you take back to the property

Not a binder. Not a folder of slides you never open. Work you finish in the room and start using the week you get home.

  1. A working contact strategy — A documented outreach cadence by player value and lifecycle stage, with channel selection, frequency, scripts, and compliance guardrails your hosts can follow starting the Monday after they land.
  2. A cleaner portfolio — A practical framework for deciding who belongs in the book, how to maintain pipeline hygiene, and when to graduate, reassign, or reactivate players instead of letting lists grow stale.
  3. A 90-day player development calendar — Appointment-worthy touchpoints mapped to targets and offer guardrails. Not a list of ideas. A calendar with names, numbers, and accountability built in.
  4. A one-page executive dashboard — The metrics your GM actually needs to see, presented in a format that earns confidence instead of generating more questions.
  5. Direct feedback on your own program from coaches and peers who have built and managed host teams at regional and Tribal properties.
  6. A room full of player development professionals you can call after you go home.

Bring your team. That is the point.

One person comes back with ideas and must sell them internally. Two or three people come back already aligned on the plan.

Player development teams that attend together spend two days working through their own portfolios, their own contact strategies, and their own reporting gaps side by side. They leave with shared language, a common operating framework, and a plan they built together rather than one person’s notes. The first team meeting after they get home starts with a plan instead of a recap.

Who belongs in this room?

Casino Marketing Boot Camp — Player Development and Loyalty is designed for the people responsible for building and managing guest relationships at regional and Tribal properties.

  1. Hosts and executive hosts who want to move from reactive comping to proactive sales and structured outreach.
  2. Player development managers ready to align contact strategy, portfolio management, and reporting with ADT and reinvestment targets.
  3. Loyalty and CRM managers looking to connect tier strategy, reactivation, and offers to measurable guest behavior.
  4. Marketing directors and VPs who need their PD programs to be scalable, accountable, and aligned with the broader marketing plan.
  5. General managers and assistant GMs who want a clear operating model and ROI framework for host programs.

You do not need twenty years in player development to belong in this room. The 2026 event included first-time PD managers alongside senior directors, and every person in the room contributed to the work.

Two days, one focus

WORKING AGENDA AT A GLANCE

Day One: Build the Foundation
Structure, data, and the operating system your PD team needs before the outreach starts.

Day Two: Execute and Measure
Contact strategy, calendar, coaching frameworks, and the reporting that earns continued investment.

Operators, not speakers.

The people leading these sessions have managed host teams, defended PD budgets, and built player development programs at regional properties. They coach from experience, not slides.

On the intimate format

“Boot camp offers an intimate deep dive into Player Development that gives you direction to build your program with your players and brand front of mind. Having one-on-one face time with experienced professionals was valuable to me.”Dan Miller Database Manager, Silver Reef Casino Resort

On getting real answers

“Very intimate conference where questions will get answered. You’ll learn strategies for outreach, hosting your facility as a whole, and player reactivation.”

Gracelyn Collins Executive Casino Host Manager Marketing, Ho-Chunk Casino

On being challenged to grow

“Boot Camp is an intensive but rewarding experience. It’s designed to push you outside your comfort zone while helping you build new skills, confidence, and discipline in a relatively short amount of time. It can be challenging, but the structure, support, and sense of accomplishment at the end make it very worthwhile.”

Alexina Van Den Berg Multi Property Casino Marketing Manager, Casino Aruba at Hilton

On the coaches

“The speakers were engaging and informative in their delivery, which made the content accessible and easy to follow.”

Mike Emery Senior Director of Casino Operations/Player Development, Waterview Casino

On taking something home

“The most memorable part was the hands-on learning and the chance to gain fresh perspectives from experienced professionals in the industry.”

Need to get approval first?

Most of the people who attend had to ask someone else to say yes. We built a page for exactly that conversation. It lays out the business case in plain terms: what your team brings back, what it costs, and why sending three beats sending one.

Why Tucson?

Tucson puts you close to casino operations in the Southwest without the distractions of a resort destination. The focus stays on the work, and the weather in May is hard to argue with.

We schedule the days so there is time to breathe. Evenings are open, and the group usually finds its way to dinner together.

How many people will be in the room?

We cap this event at 30-50 attendees. That limit is part of the design, not a scheduling accident. Player development work is personal, specific to each property’s players and structure, and the small room is what makes the coaching and feedback possible.

Is this the right event for someone newer to player development?

Yes. The 2026 event included database managers, first-time PD leaders, and senior directors in the same room, and every person contributed. The format is designed so that experienced professionals and newer team members both leave with work they can use. If your job touches host programs, player portfolios, loyalty, or VIP strategy, this room is built for you.

Is this right for someone new to casino marketing?

Yes. The 2026 event included database managers, first-time PD leaders, and senior directors in the same room, and every person contributed. The format is designed so that experienced professionals and newer team members both leave with work they can use. If your job touches host programs, player portfolios, loyalty, or VIP strategy, this room is built for you.

How is this different from a conference?

A conference is built around the sessions you attend. Casino Marketing Boot Camp is built around the work you do. One track, small tables, coaches in the room with you, and time set aside to apply everything to your own property’s players and challenges rather than a case study from someone else’s.

How is this different from Casino Marketing Boot Camp Signature in New Orleans?

Signature covers the full marketing picture across three days. Player Development and Loyalty goes deep on one discipline across two days. If your primary responsibility is PD, host management, loyalty, or CRM, this room is built specifically for that work. If you want the broader view, New Orleans is the room for that. Some properties send different team members to both.

Can I send more than one person?

Yes, and we would encourage it. Groups of 3 or more receive 15% off. PD teams that attend together leave aligned on the operating framework, the contact strategy, and the reporting instead of one person carrying all of it back alone.

What is included in the registration price?

Two days of training, all materials, and breakfast and lunch each day. Travel and lodging are separate.

What if I need budget approval first?

That is the most common situation we see. Send your GM or VP to our business case page, which lays out the value in plain terms. If it would help to have a direct conversation with your decision maker, call Julia at (504) 309-5653.

What if my plans change?

Substitutions can be made up to the start of the event. Refunds are available based on our terms and conditions. If you provide written notice of cancellation on or before 60 days prior to the event start date, a 25% fee will be assessed on the registration fee and the balance will be refunded. If you cancel after that date, the registration fee will not be refunded but may, at our discretion, be applied as a credit to other Casino Marketing Boot Camp events or programs.

Are vendors and suppliers able to attend?

The standard rate is for casino operators. Vendors and suppliers, call (504) 309-5653 for sponsorship pricing and availability.
